+LOTD+ #4 - +Artistic Blossom+
Hello Darlings! Another Fashion Look! There will be several coming up as i went to visit the Xiasumi School Festival and OH MAH GAWD! *flails* So much inspiration!!
This time at the festival each floor is dedicated to a "club" and items in that club are usually of that clubs theme. Personally I absolutely am for club Supernatural. The decorations and the whole ambiance of the floor was well done and AMAZING. I highly recommend visiting (and of course Support and vote your favorite club... psst! GO club Supernatural! xD.)
This look was inspired by the Artistic Club. Some clubs have more decor than fashion which is really nice and there is also a good chunk of male clothes and items available! So girls, drag them male friends of yours!
Also, everything in the picture is a gacha item from several gachas on the floor. Which are pretty awesome! I am such a gacha whore its not even funny!
Lets talk about some of these things! :D
The Dress is made my :Moon Amore: and has a hud with it that changes the color of the blouse underneath it to 8 different colors. The skirt remains the same color but you can choose wether or not you want it with the tartan pattern or solid. The suspenders are able to be turned off and on and the buttons have four different colors of metals they can be. It runs alittle bit on me as even my size is typically XXS to SM. This was the smallest the dress could be in XXS but the sleeves were still a pinch bulky.
The Hair is the new one from .Olive. And like all Olive hair, TONS O COLORS! This one is really cute and i fell in love with it. It's located on the Artistic Floor. It even has little Paintbrushes that hold the hair up in a bun. They are able to be turned off and invisible! Which is a relief too!
Last but not least! From two stores that i often gawk at their adorable items, is the newest mesh head! I fell in love with her the moment i saw her! This head though is NOT at the School Fair. it is from the newest round of We <3 Rp. She's breathtaking and her name is Miemie. She is the born from the combined efforts of *Cila* and -Nomi-. I really love this head. A few things to note though. Limited skin colors and is just the one expression. But she had two types of eyebrows you can choose from in the Hud, available in 6 colors. 9 Make up options and you can turn off or on her eyes and ears to be able to use your own. I used one of her preset eye options which there are 8 different colors to choose from. I highly recommend this head for its adorable sweet factors and at the moment you can pick her up discounted at the We <3 Rp event for a limited time only for 30% off. As for appliers. She comes with Maitreya mesh body appliers already but slink ones are in the works and should be released soon.

Hello my Darlings!
Today is a look featuring many items that I personally fell in love with from many events. I will link the SLURLs to them below the picture.

Some of the items are exclusives to the event only, I am not 100% sure if they will be re-released afterwards but its best to get em while you can :D.
The Foxes Skirt I am wearing is super neat in the fact that you get a hud to change the side panel fabric to several different patterns/fabric colors. And its available in different colors of denims. The Sunglasses from Blow-Up also include a nifty hud in which you can change the frame color, the sides of the glasses colors, even the lens color and Opacity!
The adorable stockings I am wearing come with many different animal types too! It has Bunny, Llama, Neko, Panda and Teddy designs. and also included in it are appliers for those with the mesh bodies. Belleza, Maitreya and Slink to be exact. The stockings can also be worn as tights or just the socks. Which is available at the Rock Attitude Fashion Event.

Look of the Day #2 - +Timed Beauty+
Well Another event was visited! ubers for March!
I've only started recently going to this event a month or two ago and I thoroughly enjoyed the finds I found. Here is a look designed and inspired by the many things I did find that I liked.
The look to me is very elegant and classy with a bit of an aged feel to it. I am all about the retro kinda look in ways from Victorian to the fifties. Or i suppose as one friend said. A classy librarian. Hehe!

Look of the Day - #1 - +Innocent Sakura+
Here is a neat look I put together inspired by Japanese fashion. I also fell in love with a few of the items from stores and the event I recently went to. Such as the Origami event!
These pictures were taken at the neighboring sim at Origami. Its amazingly creepy, haunting, yet enchanting! Then again, I'm weird!
Many of the items I have on me are from one store! I just recently found it through the Origami event and oh my goodness! If you are looking for nice quality japanese mesh items in Second Life, The store is *...Silvery K...*.
I found them through looking at all the neat decor from Origami. I fell in love with the hanging decor from them.
These Were so beautiful that i had to look them up! and i was not disappointed!
The kimonos are lovely! The one I purchased, The SAYA in Pink, I fell in love with the moment I put it on. I told myself i was only allowed one for the time being so it was a tough choice as so many were gorgeous! This Kimono is "liquid mesh". So its a one size fits all sort of deal. I am not 100% sure how it fits with mesh bodies, but like all mesh things, Demos should be tried on first.
The other item I have from them is the umbrella. This umbrella is one of their gacha items from the gacha in the store. It comes with the open and close option as well as two animations to hold the umbrella above ones head or resting it upon your shoulder. You can have the umbrellas in these poses with the umbrella open or closed. There are several colors to win. From bright pinks and whites to the dark color as shown here, even one (That I high sought after xD!) which had the pattern of what looked to be an old Japanese styled painting of scenery upon it.
Last but not least is the bright pink flower'd headpiece i am wearing which I am a sucker for any sort of accessories! Very nicely done in my opinion and they also have much larger and more ornate ones available at the shop.
If you haven't gone by the shop, I highly recommend visiting them and checking out the gachas and shinies they offer!

First Post! An introduction!
Hello!!
This is my first blog post on my fashion blog, +Curiosities+.
Alittle about me now! I am known in SecondLife as Liliane Despres. And this blog will serve as an outlet for my dress up desires and to share with the world! Cause what girl (or guy!) doesnt like dressing up their virtual avatars!
I am a fan of creepy and cute things, which is awesome as in the years i've been in SecondLife, they've been hard to come by! But in recent years its catching on and more "Lolita-esque" and "kawaii" things are starting to appear!
I've been in SecondLife since July 2006 on a previous avatar mostly to explore the various Role-play sims which was the main reason for my stay in SL. I loved to roleplay and write stories! I'm always looking for sims that cater to such! In 2007ish, I opened my own store ..::Rasetsukoku::.. to try out my artistic skills in the world and to give SL abit of my fashion idears! But it's taking abit of a hiatus as I do not know how to make anything in Mesh.. Sculpting was a challenge but with Mesh, I had to close up shop and now I'm attempting to relearn my trade.. I have so many ideas and yet I lack the know how to make mesh. I'm always looking for someone to help me with that too! (*winkwinknudgenudge*).
